1. Will it work in my car?
It needs a car with wired CarPlay or wired Android Auto — that is the connection the box uses to reach your screen. If your car has neither, an AI box is not the right product for you. Check your car against Apple's and Google's official lists before you order, or send us your VIN.

2. What can I actually do with it?
Run Android apps on the factory screen, play video and media, use maps, and do it while the car is parked or charging. This is a parked-car upgrade, not a driving one.

3. Does it cost anything extra to run?
It connects through your phone's hotspot, or through a data plan you add yourself. There is no subscription from us.

Your screen can do more than it was sold with.

A factory head unit does a few things well: radio, Bluetooth, a map, and CarPlay or Android Auto. That is the whole list. The screen is capable of far more — it is the software behind it that stops there.

The A5 Pro plugs into the connection your car already has and runs Android 13 on your existing factory screen. No new screen. No dashboard to take apart. It is 84 × 50 × 12 mm and matte black, so it lives in the console rather than on the dash.

What it does not do.

It does not add a screen where there is none. It is not for watching video while driving. Streaming app availability varies by region and changes over time.

Questions people ask before buying

Do I need wired CarPlay in my car first?

Yes. The box runs on the factory screen through the car's existing wired CarPlay or Android Auto connection. If your car has never shown CarPlay when you plug a phone in, this will not work and no box will fix it.

Does it replace my factory screen?

No. It uses the screen you already have and leaves it alone. Pull the box out and the car is exactly as it was.

Can I use my phone's hotspot for internet?

Yes. The box has no built-in data plan, so it gets online through your phone's hotspot or a SIM if your version takes one. There is no free data included with the box.

Do I lose CarPlay?

No. CarPlay still works on the car's own system. The box is a second system you can switch to, not a replacement for CarPlay.

4G+32G or 4G+64G?

32G is enough for streaming apps. Pick 64G if you plan to keep downloaded video, offline maps or a lot of apps installed on the box itself.
